Aggies brush past UNO for third straight win, 87-65

In what may be becoming business as usual, Texas A&M turned a close game into a large lead with a strong second half. The Aggies were led by three of their impact newcomers in advancing their early record to 4-1.

Thanksgiving weekend is a time to count blessings.

Texas A&M basketball coach Billy Kennedy certainly is. And on Friday afternoon he was counting by threes.

The Aggies poured in nine three-point field goals, added three three-point plays and had three players — all newcomers — score in double figures to post their third-straight victory, 87-65, over the University of New Orleans before 5,281 at Reed Arena.
