Each week of the college football season TexAgs’ Olin Buchanan will reveal how he would rank the top five contenders. The rankings reflect how he would vote if the Heisman ballots were due that day. Buchanan has been a Heisman Trophy voter since 1993.

Week 15 Heisman rankings

1. Melvin Gordon, Wisconsin, RB: The nation’s leading rusher has accumulated 2,260 yards while averaging 8.0 yards per carry. He’s also posted 26 rushing touchdowns.
