MEMPHIS, Tenn. — As Texas A&M football coach Kevin Sumlin and athletic director Eric Hyman stood on a postgame podium, triumphant Aggies began a chant:

“Turn around. Turn around. Turn around.”

The crowd wanted the A&M contingent to face them when they received the Liberty Bowl trophy after defeating West Virginia, 45-37, on Monday afternoon.

But they might have been predicting the Aggies’ fortunes for the 2015 season.
