This time Texas A&M held off a furious comeback.

And the Aggies did it … with free throws?

A&M converted 11 of 13 free throws in the final minute to thwart a Mississippi State rally and claim a 74-70 Southeastern Conference basketball victory before 4,804 at Reed Arena on Tuesday night.

“We just focused and realized we needed to make shots to win games,” senior guard Alex Caruso said. “We got up there and did what we do routinely in practice.
