Coach's Scouting Report: Splendora RB Jay Bradford

Bradford committed in August of 2013 and shut it down, flying under the radar ever since. According to Splendora Head Track Coach and football assistant Randy Pope, underestimating him would be a mistake.

“He’s explosive, very knowledgeable, and does great things when the ball's in his hands. He has very good top-end speed, but he still has some things to get better at. Due to circumstances beyond his control he didn’t have the numbers some kid have, but I think his upside is very high.

"For the last two years schools knew all they had to do was stop Jay, and so we saw nine guys in the box all of the time.
