It’s lonely at the top, but there’s solitude in second place, too.

Alex Caruso posted a double-double, while Jalen Jones, Danuel House and Jordan Green scored in double figures on Saturday in Texas A&M’s 69-58 Southeastern Conference basketball victory over Vanderbilt.

That win — A&M’s sixth in a row — combined with losses by LSU, Arkansas and Georgia put Texas A&M (15-5, 6-2 SEC) in sole possession of second place in the SEC standings.
