Aggies open home-stand with error-filled loss to UGA, 62-53

In a disappointing effort in front of a disappointing crowd, Texas A&M began one of its season-defining stretches with turnovers and other errors aplenty to fall off the pace in the race for second in the SEC.

With a chance to remain in second place in the Southeastern Conference basketball standings and enhance their resume for postseason consideration, the Aggies committed a turnover.

Texas A&M, continuing a theme for the entire evening, fumbled away a shot at a significant SEC victory with costly turnovers and uncharacteristic poor decisions in a 62-53 loss to Georgia before a disappointing crowd of 6,441 at Reed Arena.
