With a chance to remain in second place in the Southeastern Conference basketball standings and enhance their resume for postseason consideration, the Aggies committed a turnover.

Texas A&M, continuing a theme for the entire evening, fumbled away a shot at a significant SEC victory with costly turnovers and uncharacteristic poor decisions in a 62-53 loss to Georgia before a disappointing crowd of 6,441 at Reed Arena.
