Diamond Thoughts: Offense drives A&M's 3-0 start

Overmatched opponent or not, the ball flew around and out of Olsen Field over the weekend at a rate Aggies haven't often seen in years. Stars were stars and the mistakes were correctable in a flashy season opener.

What an opening weekend for Aggie baseball. The team donned three all-new uniforms and an all-new look on offense under new hitting coach and third base coach Will Bolt, then went 3-0 over the weekend against Holy Cross with pretty salty pitching on the whole and by absolutely killing the baseball over 27 innings. A&M scored 41 runs on 39 hits over the weekend.
