Commitment to Baylor notwithstanding, 2016 Westfield DT Jordan Elliott is seeking to understand his status with the Aggies. He'll have that chance when he arrives on campus for next week's Friday Night Lights event.

The Latest: 2016 Westside DT Jordan Elliott

The 6-4, 305-pound defensive tackle from Houston committed to Baylor early on, but has seen his stock soar over the last month. He’s picked up offers from Alabama, Texas, Oregon, and is planning a visit to Texas A&M for Friday Night Lights next week.

Elliott remains committed to the Bears but is keeping his options open.

“It’s been real crazy lately,” he said. “It’s been a blessing to get offers from Alabama, Texas, Oklahoma and others.
