McAllen RB Trevor Speights weighing A&M offer

The Latest: 2016 McAllen Memorial RB Trevor Speights

A&M has moved slowly with in-state offers recently, but on Monday it extended three new ones. Speights was the third among them, picking up a coveted A&M offer from Kevin Sumlin himself in the evening.

“Obviously, picking up an offer from a school like A&M is a huge thing,” Speights said. “I’m just blessed to have an opportunity to play there, and I’m really excited.
