Aggie offer factoring heavily with OU commit

He has long been committed to Oklahoma, but a newly minted offer from Texas A&M has 2016 North Mesquite OL Jean Delance mindful of his options. Among them, he says, the Aggies are key for one very obvious reason.

The Latest: 2016 North Mesquite OL Jean Delance

Kevin Sumlin and the Texas A&M staff have handed out a number of in-state offers over the last week, and the lates went to the 6-5, 270-pound Oklahoma commit. He attended A&M’s first junior day and walked away without an offer, one he’s coveted for quite some time.

That all changed Tuesday night — and Delance couldn’t be happier.

“I knew it was coming pretty soon,” he said.
