Aggies' sights set on deep run in NIT

Again without Danuel House, still reeling from the way it missed the NCAA Tournament, A&M must open prepared against a 20-win Montana team. Its seniors and a fresh set of motivation may be the key.

Cynics, wise guys and basketball snobs often refer to the NIT as the “Nobody’s Interested Tournament.”

Don’t count the Texas A&M Aggies among them, though.

Though disappointed they failed to reach to prestigious NCAA Tournament, junior guard Alex Caruso said the Aggies will be focused when they play Montana in the NIT first round Tuesday night at Reed Arena.
