• Sophomore quarterback Kyle Allen entered spring ball with a lot to prove and has been everything Jake Spavital and Kevin Sumlin had hoped he'd be. Allen has displayed an outstanding second-year feel for the A&M passing game and is performing as if he has zero knowledge of what promises to be an intensely competitive battle for the starting quarterback job in August.
