We see it happen every spring — a prospect that most recruiting fans have never heard of suddenly pops up on the radar and picks up a Texas A&M offer.

Most recently that prospect was Colton Prater. The 6-4, 275-pound guard previously held offers from the likes of TCU, Mississippi St, and Ole Miss before adding one from the Aggies.

It was an offer he truly desired.
