Tyler Simmons arrived in Aggieland on a mission last weekend.

Having been told the Aggies were likely done extending wide receiver offers for 2016 — and, from Coach Sumlin himself, that it would take a big performance on his part to change that — Simmons went out and met every test.

Late Sunday evening the 5-11, 185-pound Powder Springs, Georgia product received his A&M offer via a phone call from the Aggies' head man.
