Interest beginning to rise for Manvel safety Derrick Tucker

Football Recruiting: 2017 Manvel S Derrick Tucker

Tucker burst onto the scene as a sophomore-to-be at the 2014 Texas 7v7 Championships in College Station, playing alongside coveted '16 safety Deontay Anderson. Tucker was dubbed the next big thing to come out of Manvel.

He didn't make a huge impact during his sophomore year, but the Manvel staff is expecting big things from Tucker this year. Returning to College Station for this year's State 7-on-7 Tournament, he turned in a great weekend en route to Manvel's runner-up finish.
