Is Nick Saban's Crimson Tide finally vulnerable?

Days and years come and go and Alabama is picked without fail to finish near the top of the SEC and national standings — and assuredly, that's the expectation in Tuscaloosa. But has Nick Saban finally lost too many pieces to reload so easily?

Hoover, Ala. — As usual, Alabama is projected as a top contender to win the football national championship.

However, there are an unusual amount of questions and potential vulnerabilities concerning the Tide.

The offensive line will have three new starters. The three leading receivers from last season must be replaced. That includes All-American Amari Cooper, who was arguably the best receiver in the nation. The secondary, which had its problems at times, is now without safety Landon Collins, who left early for the NFL Draft and was selected in the second round by the New York Giants.

But the greatest area of concern for Alabama is replacing Blake Sims at quarterback.
