In the midst of a flurry of summer activity, several members of Texas' class of rising seniors are making moves up the charts. The TexAgs Recruiting team presents the latest update to its reputed list of the 44 best prospects in the state's 2016 football recruiting class.

A&M and the sips combined only have 8 of the top 25 commitments from in state prospects; I expect that number to change significantly in the coming months, but it's shocking nevertheless.

Yes but, Strong is going into his second year of a total rebuild while Sumlin is going into his fourth year. I agree, Sumlin better do something this year or we need to find someone that can.

Briles & Pattersons recruiting continue to improve each year so, it's not going to get any easier for Strong or Sumlin.

Are you serious? Beuchele is ranked #29 on composite, so Lucci actually has him ranked higher than most recruiting services.

Billy just updated his rankings. When the recruiting services get around to updating theirs, Beuchele is going to see a major bump in his ranking. He'll be top 15 easily and maybe even top 10. He had a very impressive summer.
