  • Hilliard looked great in the first half of the season opener last year against South Carolina. We'll never know if he would have continued to play well for the rest of the season, but you have to like what you saw based on the limited sample size.

  • Hilliard was highly recruited coming out of high school by both Kevin Sumlin and TCU coach Gary Patterson.
