Football Recruiting: 2018 Katy Taylor DE Max Wright

As the start of fall camp draws near, the Texas A&M Football staff isn't showing any signs of slowing down on the recruiting front. On Monday the Aggies hosted the early frontrunner for the Lone Star State's top 2018 prospect in Katy Taylor's 6-4, 235-pound Wright.

The young defensive end talent already holds a handful of early offers including Duke, Georgia, Houston, Missouri and TCU.

The Aggies have already offered a pair of '18 prospects hailing from Tennessee in Harding Academy's Will Lawrence and Knoxville Catholic's Cade Mays, but have yet to extend any in-state. While that didn't change on Monday during Wright's visit to Aggieland, it doesn't mean he won't ultimately end up the first '18 Texan offered.
