Charles Oliver pays another visit to Aggieland, catches practice

Though his stock exploded after his commitment to Texas A&M, 2016 Fairfield defensive back Charles Oliver has stayed the course. He and his mother tripped to College Station on Saturday to watch the Aggies scrimmage and came away impressed.

Football Recruiting: 2016 Fairfield DB Charles Oliver

Oliver committed to Texas A&M in April before seeing his stock soar, later picking up offers from Baylor and Texas. Now standing 6-2, 188 pounds, he made his way to College Station on Saturday to watch his future teammates scrimmage.

The Fairfield product was accompanied by his mother, who made the trip to Aggieland for the first time.

"She really wanted to come and check everything out for herself," Oliver said. "That's really a main reason why we decided to come in this weekend."
