Texas A&M's rushing attack failed at opportune moments in 2014, falling off in both leverage and toughness. According to both A&M physics professor Alexey Belyanin and Aggies center Mike Matthews, Dave Christensen has brought the solution.

Improving Texas A&M’s running game is a matter of getting physical.

It’s also a matter of physics.

Stereotypically, physicists aren’t physical. Fair or not, they’re more synonymous with pocket protectors than pocket protection.

Still, Alexey Belyanin, a professor of physics at Texas A&M who admits he doesn’t know a lot about football, could have told the Aggies how to bolster their running game.
