How would a routine defeat of an overmatched MAC school reveal anything about a team? Well, as Arkansas learned on Saturday, it could reveal a lot. Texas A&M's demolition of Ball State similarly said something about Kevin Sumlin's Aggies.

They came — 104,213 of them — to get a first-hand look at Texas A&M’s celebrated reconstruction project.

They weren’t disappointed. The Aggies' rebuilt defense again looked very impressive.

The newly renovated Kyle Field was pretty sweet, too.

In truth, years from now few will remember the details of Texas A&M’s 56-23 blowout of Ball State, but the Aggies in attendance no doubt will remember the grand reveal of Kyle Field’s extreme makeover.

The stadium is indeed majestic. It is indeed beautiful. It is indeed arguably the finest college football venue on Earth.
