It wasn't always pretty, but it was a 17-point win. Again utilizing stellar third down defense and riding Kyle Allen's arm, Tra Carson's legs and Myles Garrett's impeccable timing, the Aggies moved to 3-0 on Saturday.

Kyle Allen threw two touchdown passes to Josh Reynolds, one to Speedy Noil and one to Jeremy Tabuyo and rushed for one as No. 17 Texas A&M (3-0) posted a 44-27 college football victory over Nevada (1-2) Saturday at Kyle Field.

Allen’s 270-yard passing performance was complemented by the hard running of senior RB Tra Carson, who rushed for 137 yards on 22 carries.

However, a Carson fumble, a near-miss on a fifth Allen touchdown pass, settling for field goals and inconsistent defense kept the score closer than perhaps it should have been.
