On the Run: Aggies face first litmus test against Arkansas

In 2014 the glaring weakness on a Texas A&M defense full of them was the inability to hold up against the run. Under John Chavis these Aggies seem to have overcome many of those struggles — but on Saturday, as in 2014, Arkansas will reveal whether that's true.

Leading the nation in sacks is spectacular. Topping all others in tackles for loss is outstanding.

Ranking among the country’s top 20 in third down defense is excellent. Allowing no more than 206 passing yards in any game thus far is wonderful.

Yet, the key to Texas A&M’s defensive success remains the Aggies' prowess against the run.
