Tate Martell excited to experience game day in Aggieland

Though solidly committed to Texas A&M, 2017 Bishop Gorman (Las Vegas, Nev.) quarterback Tate Martell has never witnessed a game in Kyle Field. That's set to change this weekend against Alabama — and teammates Tyjon Lindsey and Haskell Garrett will be in tow.

Football Recruiting: '17 Bishop Gorman (Nev.) QB Tate Martell

When Martell committed to Texas A&M before the start of the season, he had yet to take in a game at Kyle Field. When Alabama rolls into town this weekend, that’s going to change.

Bishop Gorman teammates Tyjon Lindsey and Haskell Garrett will make the trip to Aggieland with Martell; after watching countless videos of Kyle Field and the 12th Man, it’s something he’s ready to experience in person.

“I’m really excited,” Martell said. “It’s going to be so much fun to watch them live for the first time at Kyle Field. I can’t wait to see the fans and the student section going crazy. That’s the stuff that pumps me up when I play. My adrenaline will be pumping even though I won’t be playing.
