OXFORD, Miss. — A feisty effort from Texas A&M’s defense wasn’t enough to compensate for a moribund offense as the Aggies suffered an embarrassing 23-3 Southeastern Conference football loss to Ole Miss on Saturday at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium.

The Aggies (5-2, 2-2 SEC) hoped to rebound from a lackluster offensive showing in last week’s 41-23 loss to Alabama.
