Hampered and hamstrung all night by an offense that couldn't move the ball and often gave Ole Miss short fields, the reborn Texas A&M defense — led by Myles Garrett and Armani Watts — nonetheless held its own and provided bright hopes for the future.

I'm going to keep this one pretty short and sweet this week, since most of the angst, chatter and conversation seems so centered around the Texas A&M offense and the fluid situation at quarterback.

On top of that, there isn't a ton to analyze on the defensive side of the ball, where most of you saw what I saw on Saturday night: a unit that, though far from perfect, fought its butts off and played winning football for four quarters.
