Returning home and donning black uniforms, the Aggies righted the ship on Halloween. Kyler Murray made the first start of his career and put up 379 total yards in Texas A&M's 35-28 defeat of South Carolina on Saturday.

Kyler Murray made his first collegiate start a memorable one by throwing for 228 yards, rushing for 156 and accounting for two touchdowns to lead Texas A&M (6-2, 3-2) past South Carolina, 35-28, Saturday at Kyle Field.

Murray ran one yard for a touchdown and completed a 10-yard scoring throw to Josh Reynolds to thrill an announced crowd of 102,154.

His presence in the starting lineup also proved beneficial to running back Tra Carson, who rushed for 122 yards and a TD.
