Another Next Year: Questions facing Kevin Sumlin's program

On Tuesday Kevin Sumlin suggested that the Aggies could field a strong team in 2016. The problem, most A&M fans are clamoring, is that many believed the same about the 2015 team ... until it went the way of the 2014 team.

Midseason collapses are becoming too familiar at Texas A&M.

So is sixth place.

Indeed, after another midseason stumble the Aggies find themselves in sixth place in the Southeastern Conference West Division standings. That’s where they finished in 2014.

That’s not the only similarity to 2014 this football season.

Last year the Aggies got off to a 5-0 start then lost three in a row to Mississippi State, Ole Miss and Alabama.
