I'm going to let you know right now that the title for this article is misleading. There will be more than five thoughts after watching the performance of the Texas A&M men's basketball team in a 104-64 defeat of USC Upstate at Reed Arena. So, let's get it started.

1. Scoring power: The Aggies had six players, including all four freshmen, who scored in double digits. A&M scored 52 points in the first 20 minutes of action.
