Texas A&M downs Texas, 84-73, to open Battle 4 Atlantis

The Aggies took control early on Wednesday and, despite several runs by the Longhorns, never relinquished it. Danuel House scored 19 to lead another balanced effort from No. 25 Texas A&M, which moved to 5-0 with a 84-73 defeat of its old rival.

On a Thanksgiving eve in a converted ballroom on Paradise Island in the Bahamas, the Aggies and Longhorns rekindled a long-time rivalry on the hardwood after a 1,388-day hiatus.

For Texas A&M fans, it was well worth the wait as Billy Kennedy and the Aggies fought off four Texas rallies to win, 84-73, and advance into the semifinals of the Battle 4 Atlantis Tournament.
