You hear it all the time in recruiting: Commit to a school. Don't commit to a coach.

Easier said than done for most.

Simply put, in college football recruiting these kids build relationships with the coaches over the course of two, sometimes three years. They have to feel comfortable in their future as a player and young man, and nobody has the ability to affect that comfort more than a head coach.
