Baracketology: President Obama picks Texas A&M to the Final Four
It's no secret that President Obama is a huge basketball fan. Each March, he fills out a bracket alongside ESPN's Andy Katz. He may be surprisingly bad at predicting the outcome of the tournament, but I like to think means that he's due.
This year, he claims that he fought his usual urge to go "chalk," (just ignore his pick of Kansas as national champion for now) which resulted in your Fightin' Texas Aggies making it all the way to Houston and the Final Four.
His West bracket has A&M beating OU (which he claims "was tough") to face Duke in the Elite 8. In regards to that matchup, he says: "I like the veteran leadership that A&M can provide. A&M's my big pick to get to the Final Four."
He provided slightly less analysis on Texas A&M vs. Kansas in the Final Four: "I'm going with Kansas."
Well...that was quick, Mr. President. A little too quick, sir, in my humble opinion. But considering you took A&M to the Final Four to begin with, I'll look the other way. After eight full years of picking brackets, we'll see if fighting off his normal instincts pays off for the Ags.

Obama is not my president. He's only president in name only. Too bad he can't act like one.
As for him picking Texas A&M, here is a look at his track record:
if you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor
if you like your health care plan, you can keep your health care plan
ISIS is the JV team
Russian reset
ISIS is contained
Al Qaeda is on the path to defeat
Iran nuclear deal
There are shovel ready jobs
Solyndra
Considering Obama's history of screwing things up or picking the wrong side, I'm very concerned with him picking us.

I like President Obama and I think he's done a good job. His behavior and professional style sets a good example as well. I don't mind if you respectfully disagree, but it is sad the way some people are disrespectful in their comments about President Obama and politics in general.
Ags can do better. That's one reason why we have Aggie core values: Excellence, Integrity, Leadership, Loyalty, Respect, and Selfless Service.
Please remember this is an A&M related message board. The tone of your comments reflect on the university and former students.
