Mississippi State's questionable acceptance of five-star freshman Jeffrey Simmons, Georgia's unstable QB situation and Tennessee's bus troubles gave the media plenty to talk about and kept some coaches on their toes on Tuesday as SECMD16 continued.

Yet, freshman defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons was welcomed to Starkville despite being caught on video assaulting a woman. He’ll sit out a one-game suspension.

Is the locker room sign just for show?

When pressed on the subject during SEC Media Days on Tuesday, Mississippi State coach Dan Mullen said that it is not.
