Bulked-up Texas A&M linebackers set to bolster Aggie run defense

Texas A&M strength and conditioning coach Larry Jackson believes that bigger is better, and he's attempting to prove it with his linebackers. Many of the Aggie linebackers have added muscle over the long offseason in order to endure the grind of the SEC schedule.

Bigger is better.

That’s the message Texas A&M strength and conditioning coach Larry Jackson delivered Tuesday night following the Aggies' second football practice of August camp.

It’s Texas A&M's struggles with linebacker play and run defense the last three seasons have been well-chronicled. The Aggies have turned to walk-ons, true freshmen and even converted wide receivers in futile attempts bolster that unit.
