Jim Turner is expected to start a true freshman at left guard on Saturday. A true freshman earning a start in the trenches in his first-ever college football game is far from the ideal scenario, but Turner, Noel Mazzone and Kevin Sumlin have been very pleased with Prater's toughness, physicality and advanced technique since he stepped on campus in January.
