Cover Story: Hard-fought win just what Sumlin's Aggies needed

Sure it could have been cleaner, and it could have been easier on the collective blood pressure of thousands of Aggies. But Saturday's win against a determined UCLA team proved this team's toughness and suggests more good days are ahead.

It was stressful, it was at times frustrating and the Aggies had to withstand a standing eight count late in the fight. In other words, it was an intensely competitive football game between two quality teams. At the end of what actually turned out to be a pretty physical SEC/Pac-12 slugfest, the home team managed to deliver the knockout punch.
