Cover Story: Aggies master the task at hand, take aim at SEC grind

You can only beat the team you're playing this week, and the Aggies did that emphatically in a 67-0 rout of Prairie View. Though starting 2-0 isn't new, the focus and week-to-week growth of the 2016 team so far bodes well for season-long stamina.

No need to look at the stats. The final score paints a pretty accurate picture: Texas A&M 67, Prairie View A&M 0. Hey, at least the Panthers got to cash a fat check as TAMU kept it in the system, the visitors had a short drive home and, man, did the Marching Storm Band entertain the Kyle Field crowd at halftime. As for Kevin Sumlin's Aggies, they did exactly what they were supposed to do for the second time in as many games.
