Chavis, Texas A&M’s brutally honest defensive coordinator, frequently has said Texas A&M run defense would be dramatically improved in 2016.

He speaks the truth, even if statistics do not.

The numbers from Texas A&M’s clutch 29-16 victory over Auburn on Saturday night would not indicate the Aggies are significantly better in run defense.
