Texas A&M defense on verge of greatness after stonewalling Arkansas

The Aggie defense played some great football against the Razorbacks, particularly at the goal line, but it wasn't a perfect performance in John Chavis' eyes. The A&M DC expects the Aggies to be great, and he'll do what it takes to get them there.

Texas was intercepted in the bitter cold of 1993.

But rejecting Arkansas during last Saturday’s 45-24 Texas A&M victory was twice as impressive as those historic A&M goal line stands because … well, the Aggies did it twice.

The Aggies denied Arkansas the end zone on 10 snaps from the 2-yard line or closer, an effort that’s sure to go down in the annals of A&M football lore.
