Despite struggles, shorthanded Aggies find a way on the road

In a league where a road win is never a given, A&M proved it could win ugly - and win without several crucial players, including Myles Garrett. Even with significant flaws front and center, the Aggies adjusted and finished when it mattered.

Kevin Sumlin’s message was clear.

He told his Texas A&M football team that in Saturday’s game against South Carolina there would be no Myles Garrett, no Ricky Seals-Jones, no Jermaine Eleumunor and no Speedy Noil.

He also said there would be no alibis.

“We were on the road in the SEC with four of our starters not playing. They’re all four impact players, which affects all phases,” Sumlin said.
