Texas A&M's defense has struggled mightily against zone read schemes for three weeks, allowing over 1,000 rushing yards during that span. Mississippi State punched the Aggies in the mouth, and the Maroon and White folded down the stretch.

On Saturday afternoon, the A&M defense played what could easily be described as their worst outing of the season. The Ags allowed nearly 500 yards of total offense, watched Mississippi State chew up a season-high 365 yards on the ground with two runners topping 140 and didn't sack or pressure Nick Fitzgerald on more than 30 dropbacks.
