USC surges past Texas A&M in final minute for 65-63 victory

Despite seeming in control for much of the contest, the Aggies allowed the Trojans back in the game and crumbled late. A DJ Hogg three point shot in the final seconds didn't fall, and USC escaped with a win at Reed Arena.

As time was running out, D.J. Hogg squared up, took aim and launched a potential game-winning three-pointer from the top-of-the-key.

“It felt good,” Hogg said. “But it came up short.”

So did the Aggies, but they could not feel good about a 65-63 college basketball loss to USC on Friday night before 8,749 at Reed Arena.
