Late comeback comes up short as Aggies fall to No. 19 Arizona, 67-63

Again channeling the late-game magic that they conjured in the second round of last season's NCAA tournament, A&M made a furious late run that proved too little, too late against the Wildcats.

Something about NBA arenas brings out the dramatic in Texas A&M.

The Aggies (7-3) on Saturday rallied from a 22-point deficit to pull within two points before falling 67-63 to 19th-ranked Arizona in a college basketball game at the Toyota Center.

The rally, which featured an 18-0 run over the last four minutes, spawned visions of last season’s epic comeback over Northern Iowa in the NCAA Tournament at Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City.
