Texas A&M came close to pulling out a come-from-behind victory over Kansas State in the Texas Bowl, but came up short on fourth down. With the loss, the Aggies finished with an 8-5 record for the third straight year.

A fourth down pass in the waning minutes fell short and so did a Texas A&M rally as the Aggies fell to Kansas State, 33-28, in the Texas Bowl on Wednesday night at NRG Stadium.

The Aggies (8-5) advanced to the Kansas State 19-yard line with just over two minutes remaining.

But on third-and-four, an option pitch to Keith Ford resulted in a four-yard loss. Then on fourth down Knight, under pressure, was unable to connect with Damion Ratley on an out route.
