Sluggish showing dooms Texas A&M against Vanderbilt, 68-54

Vanderbilt jumped all over Texas A&M early and didn't let up. Though the Aggies attempted to come back from a 22-point deficit, the sharpshooting Commodores were able to keep them at arm's length with two back-breaking three-pointers.

Texas A&M could not keep its modest Southeastern Conference basketball win streak going.

Not by a long shot.

In search of a third consecutive conference victory, A&M was instead victimized by Vanderbilt’s long-range shooting.

The Commodores hit nine three-pointers, including back-to-back treys to turn back a late A&M rally, and the Aggies fell, 68-54, on Tuesday night before 7,508 at Reed Arena.
