So much of Texas A&M's basketball season has been marked by missed opportunities, and the final game of the regular season held form. The Aggies had the #9 Wildcats down 19-4 early but watched the lead - and the game - slip away.

Like a recurring bad dream, Texas A&M once again was in contention for an impressive basketball victory but failed to make key plays in the pivotal minutes. The Aggies (16-14, 8-10) could not hold a big early lead, could not capitalize on rare poor shooting by Kentucky guard Malik Monk and could not match the Wildcats in the final six minutes.
