Texas A&M blown out by Vanderbilt in SEC Tournament, 66-41

Texas A&M struggled offensively throughout the night against the Commodores, shooting just 33.3 percent from the field in Nashville. Vanderbilt pulled away in the second half and eliminated the Aggies from the conference tournament.

Texas A&M’s basketball season might have died and been buried under an avalanche of Vanderbilt three-point goals on Thursday night in the Southeastern Conference tournament. The 7th-seeded Commodores hit 11 three-point goals  – eight in the second half – to deal the 10th-seeded Aggies an embarrassing 66-41 loss at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.

The porous performance – in which the Aggies (16-15) shot only 33.
