- As a sporting event, March Madness is probably the best. I don’t know if opening day of college football is necessarily an event or if its more of just a weekend. The Super Bowl is fine but it’s more of a corporate thing, but March Madness, at least for a few days a year, takes over the country. The brackets get everyone interested, it encapsulates the entire country. I think the event itself is as good any we have in this country.
